Anniversary in Paris | Lily and Eddy

Lily et Eddy sont venus spécialement de Hong Kong pour fêter leur premier anniversaire de mariage à Paris. J'ai été très touchée d'être leur photographe en ce jour si spécial pour eux, d'autant plus que c'était leur première fois à Paris. Malgré le froid qui régnait sur la Capitale ce jour là, l'enthousiasme et la bonne humeur sont restés intacts; un grand bravo tout de même à Lily qui est restée rayonnante même en robe bustier. Pour autant, on ne pouvait pas mieux espérer car le ciel de Paris nous a offert ses plus belles lumières pour célébrer cet 1 an de mariage. Les nuages couvraient la tête de la Dame Eiffel tandis que les rayons or et rosés du soleil perçaient à travers eux; le genre de ciel qui vous fini par vous convaincre que Paris est vraiment une ville magique.

Lily and Eddy are from Hong Kong, it was their first time in Paris. They chose the city of love to celebrate their first anniversary as husband & wife and I felt very grateful they chose me as their photographer to immortalize this celebration. That day, the weather was pretty chilly and they were brave enough to stand the cold, special kudos to Lily who managed to keep smiling despite the sleevless dress :) The sky was really amazing as well, clouds were covering half of the Eiffel tower while the gold and pink light was piercing through them, giving this ethereal feeling that makes you feel magic in Paris.

Aujourd'hui je partage avec vous le beau mariage de Van et Fred, souvenez-vous, ce super cute couple et leur petit Paul que j'avais photographié le printemps dernier; pour ceux qui ont raté, ça se passe ici.
Van et Fred se sont dit oui à Chambéry, un mariage à leur image, simple et chaleureux, au beau Domaine des Saints Pères et son superbe hôtel surplombant le lac d'Annecy. Je vous laisse revivre leur belle journée en images...

Today I'm happy to share with you Van & Fred's wedding, a super cute couple for whom I shot this Spring with their cute little boy Paul, for those who have missed it, it's just right here.
Van and Fred tied the knot in Chambéry, the wedding was just like them, simple and warm. Reception took place at the beautiful Domaine des Saint Pères surrounded by mountains and with an amazing view over Annecy Lake... Enough for words, the pictures will tell you their D Day story

Session photo Engagement, Paris | Nhu + Pierre

Avant que l'hiver nous attaque méchamment (oui parce qu'apparemment on va avoir l'hiver le plus froid depuis les 100 dernières années...autant vous dire que j'ai vraiment hâte...), je partage avec vous la séance engagement de Nhu et Pierre. Au programme: un joli ballon confectionné par Nhu, un beau soleil, un beau ciel bleu, et deux beaux amoureux qui se diront Oui au mois de juin prochain. J'aurai l'honneur d'être également leur photographe de mariage et j'ai hâte de voir ce joli mariage que Nhu, la reine du DIY, nous concocte !

Today I want to share a little bit of summer before winter hits us hard (yes, it's been said that this coming winter will be the coldest we will have to experience for the past 100 years...awesome, can't wait...). I had the chance to share this engagement session with mister blue sky, miss sunshine and two -very in love- birds : Nhu and Pierre who will say 'I do' next June. I will have the honor to be their wedding photographer too and I can't wait to see what Nhu will come up with when I see the lovely balloon she hand made for this session, I have no doubt that this girl will nail it!

Des fiançailles à l'indienne | Bollywood Style

Cela faisait un bout de temps déjà que je voulais partager avec vous cette belle journée passée avec Bertille et Christian pour leurs fiançailles. Mais avant tout, laissez moi vous raconter ma belle histoire d'amitié avec Bertille...j'ai rencontré la jolie Bertille au collège à l'âge de 12ans, deux ans plus tard je déménageais et nous nous sommes alors perdues de vue; ce n'est que 15 ans (oui QUINZE ans) plus tard que Bertille, travaillant alors pour un cabinet de recrutement, tombe sur mon CV en ligne... un beau jour de printemps, mon téléphone sonne :
- "Allô"
- "Bonjour, pourrais-je parler à Céline svp ?"
- "Oui c'est moi"
- "Céline, c'est Bertille !"
Depuis, nous ne sommes plus quittées. Bertille c'est une fille incroyable, le genre de fille qui vous fait oublier tous vos soucis tellement elle rayonne! Bertille, c'est le genre de fille qui même enceinte de 6 mois peut vous chauffer le dance floor comme personne. Bref, une fille hors norme. Alors, bravo Christian, tu as trouvé un petit bijou :)
Merci à eux deux de m'avoir fait vivre une journée bollywoodienne remplie de couleurs, d'éclats de rires, de poulet biryani et de saris :)


It's been a while now that I wanted to share with you my friend Bertille's beautiful engagement. But let me start with a few words about my friendship with this amazing girl. Bertille and I met when we were 12 at Junior High and we quicly became BFFs, but two years later I had to move to another town and that's when we lost contact. It's only 15 years later (yes FIFTEEN) that Bertille- who was then working for a recruitment agency- saw my CV online and called me ! I think we were destined to be real BFFs :)
So that's my story with this girl. Now she's gonna be mother soon and had the most amazing Bollywood engagement party, full of colors, sarees, and chicken biryani :) I never laughed and danced so much in a day. Thank you Bertille and Christian for letting me be part of this.
