Je reviens d'un mariage qui a eu lieu à Montpellier (oui vous savez, là où l'été a vraiment commencé!). Quand on a le soleil, un couple trop cute, des invités trop cool, ça donne ça, et ça fait du bien. Des moments magiques où on passe des larmes de fou rires au larmes de joie. Merci à Rongho et Laurline pour ce beau jour. D'autres photos à venir, restez connectés !

Getting married is the coolest thing ever, that's what I told myself when I came back from this wedding in Montpellier  - South of France, where summer has started for real while Paris is still contemplating whether it should let us get out without a coat... - Anyways, when you have the sun shining, an oh-so cute couple, the coolest guests ever - you have the best combo to live moments like this. Everyone -including me- teared during this wedding, either from too much laughter or too much emotion or both. I did both -of course-

C'est lors d'une belle après-midi de printemps (la seule que l'on aura sûrement eu de TOUT ce printemps...) que je retrouve Van et Frédéric, les heureux parents du petit Paul, 6 mois et déjà un charme fou... attention ladies, beau goss en devenir ! Et c'est avec grande hâte que je retrouverai Van et Frédéric pour leur mariage en septembre prochain ! Restez connectés !

It was a lovely and sunny afternoon (probably the only one we'll ever have for this WHOLE Spring!) when I met Van, Frédéric and their cute baby Paul, 6 months and already very charming... beware ladies, hot-boy-to-be! Now loking forward to being in September to shoot Van's and Frederic's wedding...Please weather, be kind to us !

Welcome Maxence

Il y a quelques semaines, Pauline me contactait pour savoir si j'étais dispo pour shooter son neveu dont elle est éperdument amoureuse (et je la comprend!) car elle souhaitait offrir cette séance photo à sa soeur Elise qui venait d'accoucher du beau Maxence. J'ai donc eu l'honneur de rencontrer ce ptit bout de 3 semaines, trop chouuuuu. C'est toujours pleine d'émotions que je vis ces séances; être le témoin photographique des premiers jours de la vie d'un nouveaux-né, c'est hyper touchant. Merci aux parents de m'avoir fait confiance. Merci à Pauline.

A few weeks ago, Pauline contacted me to know if I was available to shoot her new love : Maxence, her nephew. She wanted to offer this photo session to her sister Elise as well. So I had the honnor to meet the oh-so cute 3 week-old little boy. It's always very moving to be a witness of the very early days of a newborn's life, and it always feels me with gratitutde and joy. Thanks to the parents for their kindness and patient during this beautiful afternoon. Thank you Pauline for offering  this shoot to your sister Elise.

Paris Elopement

Paris is indeed the most romantic city in the world. The perfect city for an elopement ! That's what Melani & Danny did and I've been honored to be part of their great romantic escapade.

For those who remember, we haven't been very lucky with the weather and the vintage car, read more here but it made the whole experience really unique and unforgettable ! :)

On ne le dira jamais assez, Paris est LA ville la plus romantique au monde. C'est donc ici que Melani et Danny ont choisi de se dire Oui en tête à tête, et j'ai eu l'honneur d'être le témoin photographique de cette belle escapade. Pour ceux, qui se souviennent, nous n'avions pas été très chanceux avec le temps et la Citroën traction, ça se passe ici pour ceux qui ont raté, mais ces petits aléas n'ont rendu l'expérience que plus belle.

Keep Calm, I'm turning 30 (only)

Well Well Well... every good thing comes to an end, I will no longer have the chance to say "I'm in my twenties" when someone asks for my age... It kinda makes me sad a little. But hey, let's see the bright side of things, I have another ten years to go before I change to the other decade. Plus, it's been said, 30s are the best time of our life. Can't wait to see. So to all my friends turning 30 this year : Let's rock the thirties ladies !
To be fair, I must say that the first 30 years of my life have been quite awesome, filled with so much blessings and beautiful people met, kind souls and uplifting encounters. Not to mention, friends who are there to always listen, or not - yeah sometimes there's a fine line not to cross between friends and shrinks - but they're always there no matter how whiny I can be and that's what counts, right ? and then there's family, and life's little bundles of joy such as an oh-so cute nephew you could eat if you were a cannibal...
So thank you Life, Thank You God, thanks for listening to my whining and my prayers and for answering them -well.. not always like I'd wish You would...- but always the best way to make me a better person. I'm grateful.
Thank you, you and you...each one of you who made my life brighter, sweeter these past 30 years. Let's stay on the same path! As far as I'm concerned, I won't lose track of you.
I know it's all so cheeeeesy but oh-so true.

Bon il paraît qu'il y a un temps pour tout ... Pour moi il est temps de dire au revoir à ma vingtaine -un peu la larme à l'oeil - et de passer à celle des "vieux" comme on disait quand on avait 10 ans. Mais si rappelles toi bien, toi aussi quand quelqu'un te disait j'ai 30 ans, tu disais " quoi ?!? mais c'est vieuuuuuuuux" et tu pensais qu'à cet âge là tu aurais déjà depuis belle lurette une belle voiture, une belle maison, un beau mari et des beaux enfants; bah voilà on y est, sans la voiture, la maison, le mari ni les enfants. Arf...allez c'est pas non plus la mort. 30 ans c'est le bel âge il paraît...paraît que c'est là où la femme est la plus belle, la plus épanouie...allez, je demande à voir! Bon allez, sans déconner, je suis reconnaissante pour 30 premières années de ma vie qui ont été très belles, pleines de belles rencontres, de bénédictions, d'amis toujours là pour t'écouter -ou pas, parce que des fois y'a des limites au pleurnichage- mais toujours là en tout cas... la famille, les bonheurs de la vie du genre un neveu tellement mignon que tu pourrais le manger si tu étais cannibale.  Alors Merci la vie, merci Dieu de supporter mes plaintes, d'écouter mes prières, d'y répondre -bon ok pas toujours comme j'aimerais- mais en nul point douter, toujours de la meilleure façon qu'il soit pour m'élever. Merci à tous ceux qui ont rendu ma vie plus belle pendant ces 30 années, restez sur mon chemin, moi je ne vous oublie pas -mais nan c'est pas du Céline Dion !! rohhh ...

Emma & Louis | Wedding at Shangri-La Paris

This was the second time for me at the magnificent Shangri-La Paris, and boy this place never ceases to amaze me. It is gorgeous.
Emma and Louis chose to say "I do" in the city of love as this is where they got engaged. They exchanged their vows in the beautiful Salon de Famille. It was a beautiful and intimate wedding with their close friends and family. I was lucky to be part of this beautiful event. Special thanks to Ian Holmes whom I assist shooting on this wedding.

C'était la deuxième fois que je mettais les pieds dans ce magnifique lieu qu'est le Shangri-La Paris, et tout comme la première fois, j'ai été éblouie par la beauté de cet hôtel.
Emma et Louis, de Londres, ont choisi la Capitale de l'amour pour célébrer leur union car c'est là où Louis a fait sa demande à Emma. C'est pas mignon tout ça ? :) ... Ils se sont dit oui dans le splendide Salon de Famille suivi d'un dîner intime avec leurs amis proches et familles. C'était vraiment un beau mariage, tout en douceur et romantisme à l'image du couple. Un grand merci à Ian Holmes qui m'a permis de l'assister pour ce beau mariage.

Very cute idea. Enclosing the bride's and groom's vows in a box with a bottle of wine that they will open only in 5 year time or if they are facing some downs to remind them about their love and the vows their shared. / Une très jolie idée du pasteur : cacheter les voeux des mariés dans une boîte avec une belle bouteille de vin qu'ils n'ouvriront que dans 5 ans ou en période de difficultés pour se rappeler de leur amour et des voeux échangés lors de leur mariage.

Shangri-La Paris also offers the most amazing fine food, it has three restaurants, each one of them being a delight to the palate. See those red lollipops, they're actually Foie Gras coated with red wine, amazing huh ? / Le Shangri-La Paris offre également l'une des cuisines les plus raffinés de Paris, il possède trois restaurants, chacun d'entre eux étant une expérience inoubliable pour votre palais. Vous voyez ces petites sucettes rouges, ce sont des bouchées de Foie Gras glacées au vin rouge et touche de feuille d'or, tentant nan ? :)
